EAEU sign several documents on cooperation

Heads of governments of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) signed a number of documents on further cooperation and integration within the meeting of the Eurasian intergovernmental council in Bishkek on March 7, Kyrgyz government said in a message.

The Eurasian Economic Union is an international organization for regional economic integration. Its members are Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia.

Within the meeting the EAEU member countries signed documents on the spheres of the economy with the integration potential, and measures aimed at its usage; on the progress in the preparation for the implementation of the digital agenda of the Eurasian Economic Union until 2025; on the results of the trade negotiations.

Moreover the heads of the governments signed a document on joint forecasts on the development of the agro-industrial complex and demand and supply for the main agricultural products and food in the EAEU member states in 2016 – 2017.

The parties also agreed to launch production of components for agricultural machinery and equipment in the EAEU member countries and on measures to develop exports of this machinery and equipment to the third countries.
