BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. Tajikistan from January through June 2022 exported goods to Pakistan for $5 million, Trend reports with reference to the Customs Service of Tajikistan.
According to the Customs, the main export commodities of Tajikistan to Pakistan in the first half of this year were cotton fabrics ($2.6 million), coal ($2 million) and cotton yarn ($200,000).
As reported, Tajikistan from January through June 2022 exported 93,099 tons of coal to Pakistan, which is more than 8 times more than in the corresponding period of last year (11,262 tons).
Export of cotton fabrics from Tajikistan to Pakistan during the reporting period amounted to 2,215 tons, and cotton yarn 61 tons.
Meanwhile, Tajik imports of goods from Pakistan from January through June 2022 decreased by 24.8 percent compared to the same period of last year ($12.9 million) - to $9.7 million.
