Belarusian haulage and earthmoving equipment manufacturer BelAZ will supply 20 dump trucks to Uzbekistan by the end of 2018, BelTA news agency reported.
A cooperation agreement between BelAZ and UzbekHydroEnergo was signed during the Uzbek-Belarusian business and interregional cooperation forum.
This agreement creates a basis for mutually beneficial cooperation, development and strong economic ties.
"Already in 2018, 20 BelAZ-7547 dump trucks with the carrying capacity of 45 tons will be sent to Uzbekhydroenergo," the manufacturer said.
In total in Uzbekistan there are about 1000 units of BelAZ machinery with carrying capacity varying between 30 to 220 tons.
Cooperation between BelAZ and Uzbek mining enterprises has been ongoing since the Soviet times and is mutually beneficial and fruitful. As of 1H2018, Uzbekistan ranked second among the foreign trade partners of the company, in terms of its share in the foreign trade turnover.
BelAZ, the management company of BelAZ Holding, is a career and specialized transport manufacturer which uses innovative technologies.
During the 70-year history of the enterprise, more than 500 different versions of quarry dump trucks and special-purpose vehicles have been produced. Some 146,000 units have been manufactured and supplied to 78 countries.
