Iran and Oman have agreed on their share of hydrocarbon resources lying along their joint maritime borders, an Iranian deputy foreign minister said. Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi has said that Iran and Oman have recently exchanged the papers of an agreement reached last year to map the exact location of their common sea borders, Tasnim news agency reported. The agreement demarcates Iran’s longest maritime borders at the Sea of Oman, Araqchi stated through a note on Sep 13.
