The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) offers the following products and goods for Feb. 7:

Export floor: Offers 110,000 tons of iron ore granules from Central Plateau Iron Ore Mines Co. as well as 31,000 tons of bitumen and 1,050 tons of insulation.

Oil and petrochemical trading floor: Offers 112,905 tons of polymers, chemicals, bitumen, vacuum bottom feed stock and sulphur.

Industrial and minerals trading floor: Offers 5,910 tons of 1000lb aluminum ingot, 620 tons of aluminum billet, 5,536 tons of rebar basket, 2,000 tons of cement and 10 kilograms of gold bullion.

Agriculture floor: Offers 592,000 day-oil chicks, 9,200 tons of wheat, 4,350 tons of sugar, 1,800 tons of crude vegetable oil, 170 tons of large lentil, 7,485 tons of maize within the framework of supportive price plan.

Furthermore, the side market of IME offers 100 tons of lactic butter from Belgium and Germany, 254 tons of metal scraps, 25 tons of used locomotive engine oil and one ton of empty barrels.

The IME was founded in 2007. It trades in agricultural, industrial and petrochemical products in spot and futures markets.

There are 70 listed brokerage companies in IME who are members of the exchange licensed by the market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Organization.
