Iran's presidential candidate Ali-Akbar Velayati said that cultural invasion should not be dealt with through filtering internet.

In the second presidential debate, Velayati added that immunity against the cultural invasion should be created through boosting family relations as well as reinforcing Iranian and Islamic values.

Previously, Velayati said that the country's foes use internet in other to put political pressure on Iran.

Velayati is a member of the principlist Coalition of Three, along with Tehran Mayor Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf and MP Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel.

Iran will hold the 11th presidential election on June 14, 2013.

The voters will select the successor of the current President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who is not able to participate in the elections for the third term according to the country's constitutional laws.
The president of Iran is elected for a four-year term.
