Ukrainian President Asks U.S’s Assistance to Include Golodomor Issue into UN General Assembly’s Agenda

Ukraine, Kiev, 6 September / Trend corr. Z.Novosvitsky / Ukrainian President Viktor Yushenko appealed to the United States with a request to assist the country to include the issue regarding recognition of Golodomor in Ukraine to the agenda of 63th UN General Assembly.  This was said by Yushenko in a joint statement with Richard Cheney, U.S Vice President.

At present, nobody knows exactly the number of victims during Golodomor in Ukraine from 1932 to 1933. According to numerous data, the number of victims reaches 8mln people.
