Vladimir Putin leads the presidential elections in Russia according to the first exit polls, RIA Novosti reported.
According to the POF, 77 percent of voters cast their ballots for the incumbent head of state, the second was Pavel Grudinin, the candidate from the Communist Party, with 11.8 percent, the third - Vladimir Zhirinovsky with 5.9 percent of votes.
RPORC said that 73.9 percent of Russians voted for Putin, the second - Grudinin with 11.2 percent, the third is Vladimir Zhirinovsky with 6.7 percent of votes.
