Iran and Azerbaijan will sign a document to develop cooperation in the theatrical field. A draft document has already been prepared, Chairman of the Iranian Performing Arts Centre, Ghader Ashna was quoted today by İLNA agency as saying.

"An Iranian delegation visited Baku at the invitation of the Azerbaijan State Academic National Drama Theatre to work out this document," he said.

"The document consists of seven items," Ashna said.

"Such issues as the exchange of experience between theatrical figures and actors of the two countries, the preparation of joint plays and their performance in both countries, workshops and actors participation at conferences were agreed," he stressed.

"It was proposed that Iran and Azerbaijan should cooperate in holding a theatre festival with the participation of the Caspian countries," he said.
