The Defense Ministries of Georgia and Slovakia signed a memorandum on cooperation in the military sphere, the Georgian Defense Ministry told Trend on March 28.

The Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Alasania and his Slovak counterpart Martin Glvach signed the document at the Defense Ministry of Slovakia.

The memorandum envisages cooperation and experience sharing in military training and education field, as well as in the military-technical sphere.

Alasania also offered his foreign colleague international basic and intermediate summer and winter courses for Slovak military servicemen at Sachkhere Mountain Training School.

He also informed his counterpart on the already implemented and ongoing reforms in the defense sector, and the process of Georgia's integration into NATO.
