The sinking Russian ship in the Caspian sea towed away

Azerbaijan, Baku, December 16 /Corr. Trend S.Aliyev/ The Russian ship "Sarmat-1" within a crew of 11 persons towed away due to Azerbaijani tow-boat. Gudrat Gurbanov, Chairman of State Marine Administration, reported to Trend . 

"At the moment the ship is being towed towards Azerbaijan's Caspian coast," Gurbanov said.

Neither dead nor injury has been registered. The information about the accident was reported by Center of Rescuing Coordination in Astrakhan on 15th December. The reason for the accident has been a technical problem at the rudder-post of the ship.

The Russian ship has been built in 1986.
