The Emergency situations ministry's employees retrieved the dead body from the ruins of the Binagadi District Road Repair and Construction Administration building that exploded at 05:29 this morning, Deputy Emergency Situations Minister Etibar Mirzoyev told Trend . The victim's identity is unknown.
The cases of the explosion at the Binagadi District Road Repair and Construction Administration are under investigation, he added.
A gas leakage caused the incident, Mirzoyev told Trend earlier.
He reported that before the incident the building were transferred to the private management.
Binagadi District Prosecutor's Office investigator Ilyas Seyidov told Trend that the building in which the explosion took place, is private property . "At the moment, the identity of the owner of the building is being specified," - Seyidov said.
According to him, Khoshbakht Babaev killed in an explosion s was repairing the building.
"The cases of the explosion is being determined, the criminal case has not yet filed", Seyidov said.
Earlier law enforcement officer at the scene confirmed that guard Khoshbakht Babayev was inside the building.
Babayev's spouse Markhanim told Trend that her husband was repairing the building.
