Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend / President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received at the Presidential Palace on 16 November the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Khidir Saparliyev.
Khidir Saparliyev conveyed to the Azerbaijani leader greetings from his Turkmen counterpart Gurbangulu Berdymuhammedov. He let him know that he had arrived in Azerbaijan on the instruction of the Turkmen President to participate in the 9th Friendship, Brotherhood and Cooperation Congress of Turkic Sates and Communities.
President Ilham Aliyev pointed out that there was good potential for enhancement of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan. He asked Mr. Saparliyev to convey his greetings to the Turkmen leader.
