Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini will arrive in Tehran on May 20 to invite the Iranian officials to attend the enlarged meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Great 8 on Afghanistan, the Iranian TV reported.
Frattini will participate in the discussions of the Iranian nuclear issue and regional problems during a two-day visit.
The meeting of the G8 Foreign Ministers will take place in Trieste city of Italy on June 25-27, "Vzglyad" (View) newspaper reported with reference to the Italian Foreign Ministry on results of the meeting of the G8 political directors in Taormina.
Tireste is one of the key Italian ports in the Adriatic and frequently hosts important international meetings.
