President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today inspected the reconstruction work on the Qobustan-Khilmilli highway.
The Azerbaijani President viewed photos reflecting technical indicators of the facility.
The construction of the highway started in September, 2011.
The highway links 6 villages with the total population of 13,000 people. The Qobustan-Khilmilli highway is 23 km in length.
President Ilham Aliyev allocated AZN 2 million for the construction of the highway in 2011, and AZN 5.3 million in 2012.
The Head of State also met local residents and congratulated them on the occasion of the opening of the highway. The residents thanked the President.
President Ilham Aliyev tested the highway by driving a car.
The President also met residents of Khilmilli village.
