It is too soon to say something about the changes to be made in US policies by President Donald Trump, Ambassador Robert Cekuta said.
“As President Trump has already said, he is looking to make changes in terms of some policies of the United States. At this point it is really too soon to say something,” the US ambassador said in Baku Jan. 26 as he was responding to journalists’ questions about US policy changes with regard to Azerbaijan.
“The secretary of state is not yet confirmed by the Senate,” added Cekuta.
“We are really in initial stages of the transition. You have seen the remarks of the new president, some of the things he is trying to do,” he said.
