The debt of the of Azerbaijan’s Azeristiliktejhizat state heating company for the natural gas produced in the first half of 2019 to the Azerigaz production association exceeded 26 million manats, Trend reports referring to Azerigaz.
During the first half of 2019, the volume of gas consumed by Azeristiliktejhizat amounted to more than 130 million cubic meters in the amount of 26 million manats.
According to Azerigaz, the company has not made any payments for the gas received so far.
The report notes that, contrary to the rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers in May 2011 about the possibility of discontinuing consumer gas supply a month after non-payment of the invoice, in the winter time the supply of gas by Azerigas to Azeristiliktejhizat continued.
In the summer season, due to the debt, the gas supply to some of the boiler houses of Azeristiliktejhizat was discontinued by Azerigas.
