BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 27. Bashkortostan sees further prospects for cooperation in mutual supplies of agro-industrial complex (AIC) products and the export of fertilizers and agricultural machinery produced by Bashkortostan to Azerbaijan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture of Bashkortostan Ilshat Fazrakhmanov told Trend.
"During the visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan in April this year, we discussed a diverse range of issues with our colleagues. The Azerbaijani side was interested in the experience of the Republic of Bashkortostan in supporting agricultural cooperatives and the development of tourist service facilities with the involvement of small and medium-sized businesses. We offered to introduce scientific developments of Bashkortostan in Azerbaijan enterprises of the agro-industrial complex to ensure food security of a friendly state. We see further prospects for cooperation in the sphere of mutual supplies of agricultural products, export of fertilizers, and agricultural machinery produced by Bashkortostan to Azerbaijan," he said.
To note, the Azerbaijan-Bashkortostan business forum was held in Baku on April 24. During his speech at the forum, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that Bashkortostan looks forward to long-term cooperation with entrepreneurs from Azerbaijan.
"We will offer Azerbaijani businesses to work with us, and comfortable conditions will be created for the country's entrepreneurs in mutually beneficial cooperation," he added.
