Russia’s largest geological holding Rusgeology JSC has established a subsidiary company in Kazakhstan – RusgeoKaz LLP, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the holding.
As stated by the press office, the establishment of the subsidiary company is related to the plans of Rusgeology to launch projects in area of subsoil use in Kazakhstan and the requirement of the Kazakh law to create an independent legal entity and to obtain necessary licenses to carry out work in the country.
Currently, Rusgeology is getting ready for the launch of a number of projects in Kazakhstan within the framework of the agreements signed with Kazakh KazMunayGas in May 2019. The company is planning to implement 2D and 3D seismic work to look for hydrocarbon raw materials and the development of solid minerals fields in Kazakhstan.
Rusgeology JSC is currently the largest geological exploration company in Russia in terms of geography of presence. The enterprises within the holding operate in eight Federal Districts of Russia.
