According to the results of exchange trading on the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) from Oct. 28 to Nov. 1, different price dynamics were observed in various commodity segments of the exchange market, Trend reports citing UZEX.
During the period under review, 4,747 tons of RON-91 gasoline brand were put up for exchange trading at UZEX, of which 2,987 tons of gasoline were sold. Exchange quotation for RON-91 gasoline has not changed compared to the previous week and amounted to $660 per ton.
Last week, producers of liquefied natural gas sold 5,630 tons of this gas for a total of $1.6 million. The exchange price of gas increased by 1.8 percent and amounted to $286 per ton.
Prices are falling in the black metal market. The price of ST 12-35 GS fittings decreased by 15.8 percent and amounted to $495 per ton. The total sales of all types of ferrous metal amounted to 6,300 tons.
The cement market is also showing slight growth. A weekly quotation for cement grade PC M-400 D-20 was fixed at $59 per ton, which is 0.7 percent more than a week earlier. The price range of other running brands of cement (in bags) averages $48- $79 per ton.
In the cotton fiber market, prices fell last week. The quotation for cotton fiber of the 1st grade, 4th type, decreased by 10.8 percent and amounted to $1,391 per ton. The price of other fiber varieties of the 2019 crop varied on average from $769 to $1,370 per ton.
The exchange price for the F-0120 brand of polyethylene amounted to $1,264 per ton last week, with an increase of 0.12 percent. The total sales volume of polyethylene on the exchange amounted to 1,700 tons.
Last week, there was a decrease in prices on the urea market. The exchange quotation for urea "A" decreased by 1.8 percent and amounted to $186 per ton. In general, 13,700 tons of mineral fertilizers were sold through exchange trading over the week.
