Iran declares details of exports via South Khorasan Province

BAKU, Azerbaijan, Nov. 30

Iran exported 2.39 million tons of goods worth about $422 million through the customs of South Khorasan Province (northeastern Iran) during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 20 through November 20, 2020), Director General of South Khorasan Customs Office Mohammad Ali Khashi said, Trend reports Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

The director general noted that 1.1 million tons of exported goods worth $82.6 million were produced in Iran's South Khorasan Province.

“The exported goods were mainly cement, vegetables, peas, eggs, hydrocarbon products, ceramics, diesel,” he said.

Khashi aslo added that the goods were mainly exported to Afghanistan, Iraq, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Taiwan.

According to him, 359 tons of goods worth $1.69 million were imported to South Khorasan Province within eight months.

The director general stressed the imported goods were mainly spare parts, coal, sheep, animal feed and so on.
