Iran's IMIDRO begins study of public and comparative discovery in Albalaq mine

IMIDRO has started the studying work of public and comparative discovery in Albalaq mine in North Khorasan intending to execute developmental programs, Discovery Manager of Iranian Mines & Mining Industries Development and Renovation (IMIDRO) Ali Asqarzade said, Trend reports citing the company.

He noted that studies and comparative discovery in Albalaq's lead and zinc are currently in progress to determine the number of mineral resources by this organization.

“Topography of the area to determine the number of lead and zinc resources in Albalaq is going to be performed by a drone. After a long time of suspense, this mine was finally cleared of the illegal croppers and its authority was given to IMIDRO’s mine protection company last year in March,” he said.

Asqarzade added that the company's developmental programs for mining the mentioned mine are being performed right now.

Albalaq's lead and zinc's mine is located in the mountainous area of Esfarayen in North Khorasan province.
