(autoinsidenews) - The Chrysler Group unveiled the refreshed 2008 Dodge Magnum at the Detroit Auto Show. The main revisions of the 2008 Magnum are focused on the front end, which has been slightly toned down, reports Trend.

The 2008 Magnums feature an all-new front end, with a shorter, wider grille that doesn't cut into the bumper, new headlamps, new hood, and a revised front fascia. The new hood on the 2008 SRT8 model features a functional performance hood scoop pulled from the Charger. Out back, the Magnum gets new taillamps and a modified rear bumper.

Inside, the 2008 Dodge Magnum offers a redesigned instrument panel with chrome bezels, higher quality materials, some additional chrome trim pieces, and optional LED lighting, which illuminates the cup holders and door-map pockets. The SRT8 features a newly available ReConfigurable Display (RCD) in the cluster, which can display feedback on performance numbers.
