Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Azerbaijan enters the top five of Georgia's biggest trade partners.
The Georgian Statistics Department announced that in January to April Azerbaijan has occupied fourth place in the list of most active trade partners of Georgia.
In January to March Azerbaijan ranked third place on the list of Georgian foreign trade partners. Azerbaijan's dip to fourth was accounted for with the drop in gas delivery to Georgia, which makes up the considerable part of Azerbaijani export to Georgia.
In January to April the goods turnover between Azerbaijan and Georgia comprised $141.96mln.
Russia remains the leader in trade with Georgia with their goods turnover in Georgia totaling $236.5mln.
Russia is followed by Turkey ($234.809mln), Ukraine ($149.998mln), and in fifth place Germany ($133.061mln).
