Turkish PM Sees Prospect of Georgian-Turkish-Azerbaijani Cooperation

Georgia, Tbilisi / corr Trend N.Kirtzkhalia / Regional cooperation was on focus of discussions between Georgian President Mikhael Saakashvili and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan in New York. Erdogan said after the meeting that the tow sides discussed regional and economic projects.

"Our relations with Georgia are developing harmonically and we cooperate in all spheres, especially, in regional projects which yield positive results," he said.

The Turkish Prime Minister appraised the projects realized so far, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline and the South-Caucasus gas pipeline.

"We carry out bilateral economic cooperation and the Batumi airport and Sarpi customs testify for it," Erdogan said. The cooperation will continue, because these relations have huge potential.

"I wish our relations to deepen. It is a very prospective union with Azerbaijan's participation, the Turkish PM stressed.
