Azerbaijan unveils latest data on fees in insurance market

The data on fees in the Azerbaijani insurance market as of early June 2021 have been disclosed, Trend reports referring to a report from the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

In accordance with the report, in the first 5 months of 2021, the total amount of the fees made up 208.2 million manat ($122.4 million), which is 48.6 percent more compared to the same period of 2020.

Today 20 insurance companies and one reinsurance company operate in Azerbaijan. Earlier, the licenses of four insurance companies, namely, Amrah Sigorta, AXA MBASK, Standard Insurance, and Revan Sigorta, were canceled.
