BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 12. We have strong appetite to support projects across Central Asia, a source at the UK Export Finance (UKEF) told Trend.
"Our support can help state-owned companies, private firms, national governments and project-finance schemes all benefit from UK capital goods and services. We make the full range of our facilities available to support UK exports to Central Asia. These include loan guarantees, direct lending and export insurance.
As the source at the organization pointed out, UKEF can support companies in Central Asia interested in purchasing goods and services of UK origin.
"Total ‘market risk appetite’ varies from country to country. For example, we have more than 3 billion pounds available for projects in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan," UKEF added.
Moreover, UKEF has ‘international export finance executives’ (IEFEs) who are able to support businesses in Türkiye and Central Asia; they help to secure overseas opportunities for UK exporters by facilitating the provision of export finance and UKEF support, the source noted.
