BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 20. Kazakhstan plans to increase the deliveries of Kazakh oil to Germany to 100,000 tons per month via the 'Druzhba' pipeline, Kazakhstan's Energy Minister Almassadam Satkaliyev told reporters in Akorda (Presidential Palace), Trend reports.

"At the beginning of the year, we started with modest volumes, around 20,000 tons per month. Now, as a result of the agreements reached, we plan to increase the deliveries of Kazakh oil to 100,000 tons per month following the signing of this agreement for the 'Druzhba' pipeline," said the minister.

The minister explained that these deliveries are considered trial shipments for both Kazakhstan and Germany.

"We are exploring the possibility of large-scale oil supplies. Based on the results of these deliveries, we will be able to discuss increasing the volume of shipments," added the minister.

Meanwhile, it was earlier noted that since the beginning of this year, Kazakhstan supplied a total of 90,000 tons of oil to Germany. It is planned to bring this figure to 1.2 million tons per year with the possibility of increasing it in the future
