BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26. Kyrgyzstan's exports of petroleum products to China significantly increased from January through June 2022, Trend reports with reference to the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan.
According to statistics, Kyrgyzstan in the first half of this year exported to China petroleum products in the amount of $9.5 million, which is more than a threefold increase compared to the same period of 2021 ($3.1 million).
During the reporting period, the main importing countries of petroleum products from Kyrgyzstan were Türkiye ($26 million) and China ($9.5 million).
In addition, Kyrgyzstan from January through June 2022 exported petroleum products to Malta for $7.1 million, Belgium ($4.7 million), the Netherlands ($4.2 million) and other countries.
Meanwhile, the total value of Kyrgyzstan's petroleum products in the first half of this year amounted to $68.4 million, which is almost 2.5 times more than in the same period of last year ($27.7 million).
