BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 19. The heads of Iranian companies Baft Shakil and SISCO are interested in establishing cooperation with Tajikistan in the field of cotton processing, Trend reports citing the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd region of Tajikistan.
During the meeting on November 17, Iranian companies got acquainted with the agricultural opportunities of the Sughd region in the field of growing cotton.
As reported, cooperation for the export of cotton fiber and cotton yarn from Tajikistan's Sughd region to Iran, and in the future, construction of modern joint ventures for the processing of cotton fiber and the production of cotton products in the Sughd region were reviewed.
The leadership of the Baft Shakil announced that in the future the Iranian company is ready to cooperate with entrepreneurs of the Sughd region on the establishment of joint ventures.
Notably, with the support of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd region, Iranian businessmen visited the cotton processing enterprises of Bobojan Gafurov, Jabbor Rasulov, Konibodom and Zafarabad districts of the Sughd region.
