Political consultations between Turkmen and Kyrgyz deputy foreign ministers were held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan’s Foreign Ministry said in a message.
The sides noted the effective development of mutually beneficial cooperation and expressed an opinion that regular political consultations are one of the important mechanisms contributing to the promotion of a comprehensive partnership.
“At the same time, political dialogue, which is being successfully developed by the two countries at a high level, as well as between the two countries’ ministries and agencies, remains the foundation of cooperation,” said the message.
During the meeting, the parties focused on the issues of regional security, cooperation in water, energy industries, as well as in transportation, logistics and aviation. They also discussed development of trade and economic relations.
