Gold price mounts in Iran

Gold price is continuing its upward trend on the Iranian free market, so each Azadi gold coin was sold at 7.3 million rials on Tuesday compared with 6.9 million rials the day before, the Mehr news agency reported.

The dollar was sold at 16,650 rials on Iran's free market on Monday, compared with 11,296 rials, which was announced by the Central Bank as the official price, the IRNA news agency reported.

The euro and pound were also priced at 22,000 rials and 27,200 rials on the free market, compared with 14,287 rials and 17,295 rials announced by the Central Bank.
