The Turkish government positively approaches to opportunities of opening of a humanitarian air corridor to Lebanon. Trend special correspondent in Ankara said that in accordance with the statement by an official of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, such a corridor can be opened and it will not damage the countrys balanced policy in the region.
At present Turkey is more active country on rendering assistance to Lebanon and evacuation of civilians. Over 10,000 citizens, including the foreigners, have been sent to different world countries through the Mersin port.
Along with active participation in humanitarian actions, Turkey negatively approaches to the role of a leader in the multinational forces, which different countries consider to direct to Lebanon.
