Tehran, Iran, November 7
By Mehdi Sepahvand –- Trend:
ABB, the Swedish-Swiss digital technologies corporate, is back in Iran and partaking trade exhibitions thanks to the removal of sanctions that followed Iran’s nuclear deal with world powers.
“We were not active in Iran for years. But since January 2016 we came back and this is the first exhibition since then that we are attending,” Hesam Hashemi, trade compliance officer and communication support officer at ABB’s Iran branch told Trend November 7 on the sidelines of the 17 Iran Electricity Exhibition in Tehran.
Expressing satisfaction over the number of customers, Hashemi said trade compliance rules would prohibit ABB from working in Iran.
“But now we are here as we respect trade rules of both Iran and the international trade rules.”
