BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. The World Cup in acrobatic gymnastics officially opened in Azerbaijan's Baku with a ceremony at the National Gymnastics Arena, Trend reports.
The event began with the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan, followed by the start of athlete performances on the arena floor.
The tournament, organized under the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), brings together athletes from seven countries, with a total of 63 gymnasts competing for medals.
On the first day of the competition, women’s pairs, men’s and women’s groups are performing balance routines, while men’s and mixed pairs are competing in dynamic routines.
The World Cup is set to conclude on June 15.
