Turkmen State Committee for Fisheries extends int'l tenders
The Turkmen State Committee for Fisheries on behalf of the tender commission in Turkmenistan has extended several international tenders:

Azerbaijani state border service announces tenders
Azerbaijan's State Border Service has once again announced seven tenders.

Tender announced to create cadastral real estate database in Baku

Azerbaijan announces investment competition to sell chemical enterprise
The State Property Committee in Azerbaijan has announced an investment contest to sell a 97.78 percent stake of the Mingechevir Glass Fiber enterprise producing high quality fiberglass and other chemical products, a statement in the official press said today.
The contest is open to Azerbaijani physical and legal entities and foreign investors. Applicants must submit an investment program with proposals to restore the company's activity.
Applicants must also submit a bank guarantee for five percent of the cost of the investment proposal, and proposal to pay 80,000 to the state budget.
The authorized capital amounted to 494,780 manat as of April 1, 2012, which issued 247,390 shares at par value of 2 manat each. The subject of the contest is 241,888 shares with total nominal value of 483,776 manat.
The company has debts amounting to 687,377 manat, including arrears of wages to 102,142 manat. Debts for raw materials, work and services amounted to 144,950 manat. Receivables of the enterprise are 137,139 manat.

Azerbaijan announces investment competition to privatize sports complex
The State Property Committee of Azerbaijan has announced an investment competition for sale of the Central Sports Complex in Salyan city, the Mulkiyyet newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The competition is open to physical and legal entities of Azerbaijan and foreign investors.
Applicants must submit an investment program with proposals on efficient use of the facility.

Azerbaijani water operator announces tender within KfW project
Azersu has announced a tender for reconstruction of water supply and sewerage system in Sheki city (380 km from Baku) within the "Open municipal infrastructure program-2", funded by the German development bank KfW and the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, the operator said on Thursday.
This phase of the project aims to improve water supply system in Sheki city with a population of 75,000 people. According to the project, it is planned to construct three new reservoirs with a capacity of 3,000 cubic meters each, to reconstruct the existing reservoir with a capacity of 1,000 cubic meters.
A trunk line with a length of 7 kilometers will be built from the source of water - Kish river to Gurdzhan zone. The water lines were laid between the water reservoirs.
According to the terms of the tender, construction work must be undertaken on the basis of European standards. The fee for participating in the tender is 100 manat or $125. The companies -applicants can submit their proposals to "Azersu" until June 21.
Part of water supply system was reconstructed at the initial stage.

Turkmenistan to announce tenders to develop Caspian Avaza resort
Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has permitted the ministries, departments, as well as the regional administration to carry out international tenders to construct the Avaza national tourist zone in the prescribed manner within three months, the official Turkmen source said.
Relevant departments must determine the winners of the tenders and prepare appropriate documents to conclude the contracts. The project includes the Palace of Congresses, entertainment, shopping, sports and other facilities.
On Friday, the president stressed at the government meeting that it is planned to create optimal conditions for recreation and health of the Turkmen people, as well as for foreign visitors in Avaza.
At present, the total cost of the facilities being constructed in the national tourist zone Avaza on the Caspian Sea is more than $2 billion.
Moreover, the construction of the port on the Caspian Sea will allow the development of cruise routes to visit and rest in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Iran.
After the international transport corridor North-South, being built jointly by Turkmenistan, Iran and Kazakhstan is constructed, tourist routes will also be laid.

Uzbekenergo announces tender to modernize Syrdarya thermal power plant
"Uzbekenergo" State Joint-Stock Company announced the tender to choose a contractor for "Syrdarya thermal power plant" modernization with the starting price of $57.3 million. Syrdarya thermal power plant is the largest thermal power plant in Central Asia, the company told Trend on Saturday. According to the terms of the tender, the winner must carry out the design and install "turnkey" equipment for the reconstruction of two power units (3rd and 4th) with a capacity of 300 MW. The power units will be commissioned in October-December 2013.
The bids will be received until June 12. The results of the contest will be summarized in the third quarter of this year. The project worth $ 60 million will be financed on an equal footing due to the credit of the Uzbek Reconstruction and Development Fund and Uzbekenergo's own funds.
Syrdarya thermal power plant was commissioned in 1981 with an installed capacity of 3,000 MW (10 power units of 300 MW). Annual delivery of electricity to the integrated energy system of the republic is 13 billion kWh, or 32 per cent of the total electricity generated in Uzbekistan. The German Siemens AG reconstructed power plants worth $45.4 million in 2002. Two power stations (7th and 8th) were planned to be modernized within the project.
The project was financed by a loan from the European Reconstruction and Development Bank to the amount of $27.8 million and Uzbekenergo's own funds.
Russian "Power Machines" company repaired the fifth power unit of the station with capacity of 300 megawatts and cost approximately $ 20 million in June 2009. The project was financed by Uzbekenergo's own funds.
At present, about 45 power plants with total capacity of about 12,400 MW, including 16 "Uzbekenergo" power plants with a total capacity of 12,040 MW operate in the Uzbek power system.
According to the official statistics, Uzbekistan increased electricity production by 1.3 percent up to 52.416 billion kilowatt-hours in 2011 compared to 2010.
