The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers has approved cabotage transportation procedures for imported goods. The decision was made on December 6, the Cabinet of Ministers report, published on its official website said on Monday.
This procedure determines the rules of cabotage transportation under the customs controls of imported goods on ships between the customs posts, and their point of discharge.
According to the courts, cabotage procedure covers the below mentioned goods loaded on a ship at one post of the customs territory, and unloaded at another point, without leaving the area:
1) The goods placed under the release for free circulation customs procedure;
2) The undeclared goods transported through the customs territory by another vessel, not by the ship they were brought on.
Azerbaijan increases cost of living
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today approved a law on the cost of living for 2013 and signed an order for its application.
The cost of living in the country will be increased from a current 108 Manat to 116 Manat in 2013, for working people from 116 Manat to 125 Manat, for retirees from 84 Manat to 94 Manat and for children from 87 Manat to 93 Manat.
The law will come into effect from January 2013.
