Azerbaijan’s state revenues reduced by 12.0 percent, while expenses decreased by 35.6 percent in January-April 2016.
As of May 1, the revenues of the Azerbaijani state budget were estimated at 4.714 billion manat or 88.0 percent of the level in the same period of last year. The state budget expenditure reached 3.999 billion manat (64.7 percent).
The State Statistics Committee has estimated the budget deficit (713.8 million manat) as 4.2 percent of GDP.
