A Chinese delegation is on an official visit to Georgia to discuss Georgia's potential as the future member of the Silk Road Economic Belt.
The Chinese delegation has held meetings with Georgia's Minister of Education and Science Tamar Sanikidze and the rector of the State Technical University, Archil Prangishvili. During the meeting, the sides discussed the educational and scientific projects under which Georgia cooperates with the members of the union.
The Silk Road Economic Belt aims to bring together the countries of the Silk Road in a single economic space and ensure the implementation of joint economic, educational, scientific and other projects.
