Three killed in soybean oil plant explosion in Brazil

Three people died on Monday after a tank exploded in a soybean oil plant in Formosa of central Brazil, Xinhua reported.

According to sources with the Military Police, the victims were cleaning the tank when the explosion happened. All three died on the spot.

The fire triggered by the blast did not spread and was quickly brought under control by the local fire department. Firefighters remained at the scene to help cool down other tanks and machinery in the plant to prevent further explosions.
