Iraq's police surrounds Ashraf camp

Iraq's police surrounded Ashraf camp where members of People's modjaheds organization based. Police are ready for fulfilling decision of the government concerning their expulsion, Iran's information agency Mehr reported with reference to Al-Jazeera TV channel website.    

Iraq's authorities have been calling for expulsion of People's modjaheds since June 19, 2008. Roughly 3,500 Iran's members of organization are based in Ashraf camp. People's modjaheds are in opposition to current regime in Iran. Members of organization fought in Saddam Hussein's army against Iran during Iran-Iraq war. Tehran repeatedly called Iraq for expulsion of modjaheds to Iran's side.
