From January through November, 2019, passenger transportation by airlines in Turkey decreased by 0.8 percent compared to the same period of 2018, making up 195.3 million passengers, the Ministry of transportation and infrastructure of Turkey told Trend.
For the indicated period, the domestic passenger flow amounted to 92.8 million people, which is 11.5 percent less, year on year.
From January through November of, 102.5 million people were transported by external flights, which is 11.4 percent more, year on year.
According to the ministry, three main airports of Turkey - Istanbul, Ankara and Antalya together transported 80.1 million passengers From January through November, 2019.
