Azerbaijan reveals another batch of low-quality Christmas gifts

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry during the regular monitoring of Christmas gifts has identified 56 sets with products of unknown origin weighing about 17 kilograms, the ministry said on Thursday.

The State Service for Antimonopoly Policy and Consumer Protection under the Azerbaijani Economic Development Ministry during the regular monitoring of Christmas gifts has identified 56 sets with products of unknown origin weighing about 17 kilograms, the ministry said on Thursday.

Monitoring was conducted in Khatai, Binagadi and Narimanov district of Baku.

Administrative measures have been taken towards physical and legal entities - perpetrators of consumer rights.

The State Service recommends consumers to be careful when buying Christmas sets, and pay attention to the name and address of the manufacturer, the set's composition, the date of production and expiration date.
