President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has been given an official welcome on Thursday here, at the Presidential palace, the AzerTaj state news agency reported.
A guard of honor was lined up at the square decorated with the national flags of Azerbaijan and Belarus.
President Ilham Aliyev was welcomed by Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko.
The two leaders inspected the guard of honor as a military orchestra played the national anthems of both countries.
Belarus officials were introduced to President Ilham Aliyev, while members of the Azerbaijani delegation to President Alexander Lukashenko.
The presidents then posed for photographs.
