Georgia, Tbilisi, May 14 / Trend N.Kirtzkhalia /

The liberalization of the economy withdrew Georgia from the crisis, the parliamentary committee on industry economy states in response to criticism of EU.

The committee believes the free trade with EU is of great importance to Georgia, but an economic development is a higher priority for the country at this stage.

EU criticized Georgia's economic policy. European Commissioner Stefan Fule said the ultra-liberal ideas of the Georgian government do not fully correspond to the free trade with EU.

Expressing hope that "Georgia will remain committed to its policy of convergence of its legislation with European one, Fule reminded the Georgian government that ultra-liberal approach to the economy must be changed.
