SHUSHA, Azerbaijan, July 25. The liberated territories of Azerbaijan impress with splendid landscapes and historical monuments, a traveler from Ukraine Vladislav Kibol told reporters during his visit to Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur, Trend's Karabakh bureau reports.
“I have already been to Azerbaijan several times but found myself in Karabakh for the first time. I have repeatedly submitted requests to come here after the complete liberation of the territory. However, demining work delayed the visits. Now I have finally been invited to Karabakh as part of the Most Traveled People group. We have already seen the airport in Fuzuli; it is magnificent, new, and clean. We hope very much that soon it will start accepting many flights, not only domestic but also from Türkiye and Europe,” he emphasized.
To note, the visit of an extended delegation of 35 people to Karabakh, including the head of one of the four largest travel clubs in the world, the MTP (Most Traveled People) travel club, started on July 25.
The delegation is led by Charles Veley, whose name was included in the top 10 list of world travelers, and international travelers from 13 countries (US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, the Philippines, Poland, Hungary, and others) joined the trip.
About 400 international travelers in large groups from almost 50 countries have visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur 10 times in the four years since the second Karabakh War. Today's trip is the 11th.
