Industrial products and services worth 26.4 billion manats were manufactured and provided in Baku from January to August 2019, Trend reports on Sept. 26.
Some 80.5 percent of the products were manufactured in the mining industry, 17.5 percent - in the processing sector, 1.4 percent - in the production of electricity, gas and steam fields, 0.6 percent - water supply, waste treatment and recycling sectors.
The private sector share in industry for the reporting period amounted to 83.6 percent. In the total volume of production, the share of industrial products accounted for 89.1 percent and the share of the rendered services - 10.9 percent.
Most of the manufactured products were sold to consumers, taking into account the reserves accumulated over the previous period. As of September 1, 2019, there were ready goods worth 226.2 million manats in the warehouses of industrial enterprises.
There were the products worth 64.5 million manats purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale in the warehouses of industrial enterprises.
