The Center for Organizing Auction of the State Property Service under the Ministry of Economy and the State Agency for Subsoil Use under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources continue to hold auctions for the commissioning of mineral deposits, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan.
According to the ministry, the next auction for the commissioning of mineral deposits was held on December 14. The high interest of investors made the auction competitive.
At the auction, 20 hectares of the Gadzhimelikli sand and gravel deposit in the Goygol district, five hectares of the Garasuchaisky sand and gravel deposit in the Goranboy district and four hectares of the Girdimanchay sand and gravel deposit in the Ismayilli district were commissioned.
The last application for lot #1 with a starting price of 17,500 manats ($10,297) amounted to 41,000 manats ($24,124). The starting price of lot #2 worth 16,500 manats ($9,709) was commissioned for 80,700 manats ($47,484). The largest competition was observed in lot #6 with a starting price of 15,900 manats ($9,356), which increased to 97,200 ($57,193).
Azeri Mining Group LLC became the winner of the auction at the Gadzhimelikli sand and gravel deposit for lot №1, lot №2, KANT-2S LLC became the winner of lot №3 and lot №4, Ilham Ismayilov became the winner of LOT-5, LOT-6.
The winners of the auction for the Garasuchay and Girdimanchay sand and gravel deposits were №23 Yol Istismary LLC and Mugan-KITT LLC, respectively.
The next auctions for the commissioning of mineral deposits will take place on December 24 and January 17.
In order to participate in the auction, bidders must pay a service fee and a fee of 10 percent of the starting price. Foreign legal entities and individuals can also participate in the auction.
It is noted that 20 mineral deposits were put into operation at the subsoil use auctions that started this year.
