OKL (Organization for Karabakh Liberation) blames an attempt of the French Parliament to adopt a law connected with the so-called Armanian Genocide, Trend reports referring to a statement spread by OKL today.

OKL considers that France`s Government and Parliament are openly standing up for Armenians. The statement speaks that the step taken by France does not meet any international legal norms, that there is no place either in Europe or elsewhere in the World for this country. OKL also demands that the French Co-Chair status of the OSCE Minsk Group should be cancelled.

If the French Government does not leave this initiative, then OKL will begin protest actions with demands on suspending the activity of the French embassy to Azerbaijan, the statement tells.
