Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. К.Zarbaliyeva / The law of rules regarding examinations and interviews for appointment to the service within the Justice department has been approved, the Azerbaijani Justice Ministry reported to Trend agency on 14 December.
The law, in compliance with the bill on Service in Justice Departments, has announced the rules for the examination and interview with candidates who wish to join the Justice department.
Within the document, an examination or interview is to be held in order to define the level of knowledge of the candidates. The examination will consist of specialty subjects and interviews. Persons with the highest juridical education are permitted to apply. Persons who work in the Prosecutor's Office and other law enforcement bodies, persons with juridical education, former judges and others only require to pass the interview stage.
A special commission is formed to carry out the examination and interview with the candidates. The Azerbaijani Justice Ministry will confirm the composition of the commission which may involve lawyers and other specialists.
The age limit for employment within the justice service is 60 year old.
